The
Quebec Immigrant Investor Program is designed
to encourage investment in Quebec, Canada, by
offering Permanent Residence status to the
Investor and his dependants. Techocan's
Immigrant Investor Program is overseen by a
team of lawyers and financial managers who
prepare the application and supporting
documents. We also provide interview
preparation which is essential for a
successful interview. Finally, we provide a
Canadian or a Quebec Lawyer to attend the
interview in support of the client.
Requirements
Any
person may apply for Permanent Residence to
Canada through the Immigrant Investor Program
provided they meet the following basic
qualifications;
a.
The investor must have a net value of $800,000 Canadian;
b.
The investor must invest $400,000 in Canada for a period of five years;
c.
The investor must be able to account for the source of the money;
d.
The investor must have a minimum of three years management experience.
Spouse
and Dependant Children
The investor's spouse and dependant children
will be included in his application for
permanent residence in Canada under the
Immigrant Investor Program.
Investment
Options
Option One: Cash Payment of CDN
$120,000 with Financing of CDN $280,000
Requires
a cash payment of CDN $120,000 from the
Investor. The Canadian Investment Broker shall
secure a bank loan of CDN $280,000 on behalf
of the Investor from a Canadian Chartered
Bank. No further payment is required from the
Investor, the initial cash payment of CDN
$120,000 covers interest on the bank loan and
other financing charges. No balance is repaid
to the Investor after the five (5) year term.
Option
Two:
Cash Payment of CDN $400,000. No Financing
Requires
a cash payment of CDN $400,000 from the
Investor. No further payment is required from
the Investor. After the five (5) year term,
CDN $400,000 plus interest is repaid to the
Investor. The investor's rate of interest
shall be the five (5) year Canadian chartered
bank term deposit rate less a maximum of five
percent (5%), the said interest rate never
being less than zero (0%).
Repayment
of Investment
Repayment
of the investment is secured by an irrevocable
pledge of securities by the borrowing
corporation which are transferred to an
independent trust of which the investor is
beneficiary. The securities pledged by the
borrowing corporation must be financial
instruments being "Blue Chip Bonds"
rated no less than "A" by the
Dominion Bond Rating Service of Canada.
The
investment and interest (if applicable) is
repaid in full to the Investor in one lump sum
five (5) years after disbursement to the
borrowing corporation.
